Recently in West Virginia, the southern United States, dogs left behind in cars “driving” cars and crashing them into the walls of buildings.
The owner woman parked her car in a supermarket parking lot in Wayne, the state, on July 29 and left two of her dogs in the car to go shopping. I left the engine on for the dogs so that it wouldn’t get too hot in the car.
However, while the woman was still in the store, the dog operated something, so the car started with gear. It stopped when it crashed into a concrete pillar near the entrance of the store. People around me rushed to help immediately, but one dog was sitting in the driver’s seat.
According to witnesses, the other dog in the passenger seat opened the car window by operating it himself from inside.
A security camera video showing the scene was released on the 1st.
Neither the car nor the building was so damaged, nor the woman was charged with the crime. The dogs were not wearing seat belts, but neither of them were injured and returned home safely in a human-driven car.
