The Goat has eyes as if he didn’t know where he was looking. Perhaps because of his stupid face, some people think, “A goat is a fool.” But the goat is smart. What other animals do you think a goat is as smart as?
–Is it the same level as a dog?
That’s too bad. From my experience of raising animals, goats are as smart as cows, and they are more stupid than dogs, horses, and pigs, but smarter than rabbits. You may think that cows are smarter because cows are bigger than goats in brain size, but there seems to be no correlation between brain size and intelligence.
So how intelligent a goat is, not only does he remember the face of a human being who always takes care of him, but he also remembers all the faces of his fellow goats. You can distinguish between people who are nice to you and people who are mean to you.
When we talk about the intelligence of animals in this way, we always think of the poor idea of eating intelligent whales and dolphins. Cows and pigs are also highly intelligent animals, so if you use that logic, you will feel sorry for eating cows and pigs.
Instead, I can understand the logic that whales should not be whaling for food because they are rare animals. However, if scarcity is lost, it will not be a compelling reason. I don’t like seeing animals because of their high and low intelligence leads to a distinction between animals.
When such a wise goat attacks his opponent, his specialty is head thrust. If you raise a goat from a child and have a relationship of trust with the breeder, you will bump the small horn that grows on the top of your head into the person. This is not only a kind of affectionate behavior, but also a head-to-head practice in preparation for future battles with your opponent.
Female goats don’t push their heads so much, but male goats actively push their heads against other males to become the boss of the group. “This is the first time I’ve seen him,” he said to the breeder. “I don’t like it,” said the Goat, and he attacked me with a serious thrust. They are so intelligent that if a child raises a goat, he or she will realize that they are much smarter and easier to handle than he or she thinks, and will surely enjoy raising them.
Some people have the impression that goats run away easily because of poor breeding conditions. If the breeding environment is good, the goats will not run away unless they are surprised. Even if you let them go, they return to their gauge when it’s time to feed.
The goat is a very friendly animal that always wanders around beside humans.
