ハロウィンイベントはいつのまにか日本でも秋になると盛り上がってる
日本ではコスプレをする日くらいにしか思ってないし、実際どのようなイベントなのかよくわかっていない人も多い
ハロウィンは10月31日に行われる
キリスト教では、ハロウィンの翌日が祝日となる
ハロウィンは「諸聖人の日の前夜祭」といった意味だ
ハロウィンは2000年以上前の古代ケルト人のお祭りが起源だ
古代ケルト人とは、アイルランドやスコットランドに住んでいた人のことである
古代ケルト人はドルイド教という宗教を信じていて、10月31日に「サウィン祭」というお祭りを行っていた
夏の終わりと冬の到来を祝うお祭りだ
その後キリスト教に吸収されますが
10月31日のお祭りの部分だけは受け継がれた
これがハロウィンだ
アメリカでは主に子供たちのイベントとして定着していて家をホラー風に装飾しパーティーを開く
仮装をしたり、子供たちにキャンディーをプレゼントしたりする
日本で普及し始めたハロウィンは、アメリカ経由で伝わったのでコスプレの部分だけが浸透してしまったようです
