夏になれば気温は30度を超え日差しが照り付け動物だって暑さには弱る
動物園で飼われてる動物は夏になれば人間同様熱中症になったり日焼けしてしまう
そのため飼育員は毎日の健康チェックをしてそれらの対策を施す
なので熱中症の予防や日焼け止めも行う
動物だってスキンケアは欠かせないのだ
そんなことをしてるのは決して人間だけではないのです
カバの肌は実は人間が思うよりとってもデリケートだ
特に乾燥には弱く、いつも水で湿らせておかないと肌が荒れひび割れてしまう
何百キロもある大きな体からは想像もつかないが、お肌は弱い
人間ならば保湿クリームや日焼け止めを塗るところだが
カバは血の汗と呼ばれるものを体中から出す
血と言っても血液がでてるわけではなく、ピンク色の粘り気のある液体で、これによって皮ふをばい菌や太陽光から守る
こちらのカバちゃんは顔を檻の窓口にちょこんと乗せ飼育員さんに差し出している
よくは分からないけど、保湿クリームなのだろうか？
調べるとあまりそういったものは使わないと出てくるんだけど
