A giraffe walking with a lion clinging to its body has been found in Savannah, Africa, a wild kingdom where the weak live on a strong diet.
Even though it’s a big giraffe, it’s nothing but prey for a predator lion. However, there are some things that are difficult to tell whether they are different in size or not.
Now who will win the fate of this lion or the giraffe to survive today?
This is the Clansery Wildlife Refuge in South Africa. A scene like this flew in front of tourists enjoying safari tours.
A giraffe, clinging to one of the lions on his back and several on his hind legs, was slowly crossing in front of the tourists.
The female lion on the top clings to the giraffe. But the other lions seemed to be dragged along.
You can see the male lion, too. The giraffe sometimes stops, but continues to walk with the lions. He must have instinctively realized that he would be done if he was knocked to the ground.
The quiet battle, at the risk of the lives of the giraffe and the lions, lasted five hours.
And at last the lions gave up! Kirin walks away quietly. He also pretended to step on the lions who were trying to chase them.
Lions usually use the method of pushing their prey down to the ground and stabbing them at the throat. However, in the case of tall giraffes, it is very difficult to push them down or aim at their throats. So I couldn’t stop it, and it seems that this video-like situation has come to an end.
Safari guide François Pienaal, who filmed the video, says it was the best scene in his experience as a guide.
